As a Trauma-Informed Coach, Kutana Nichol understands the presence of past trauma in the present moment and how to use it as a guide for resilience and solution-focused coaching strategies. The focus will be on your current life and how trauma is affecting it today. The goal is to develop healthy feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and positive coping techniques.

Coaches serve as support, guide, and mentor. They do not treat mental illness/trauma but have knowledge of mental illness/trauma. Coaches work alongside individuals to identify and describe current problematic behaviors so that they can change them.
As your Trauma-Informed Coach, I will work with you to understand the recovery process, reconnect with yourself, and move forward to a more peaceful life.

Therapist
Therapists are trained to treat people who have mental illness symptoms and other significant emotional and social concerns. They operate under medical model care. Therapists analyze individuals' past to assist them in understanding one's present behavior.
